More information

South-Stukely is a one thousand people community.

South-Stukely arms have been adopted in 1992. They represent a two colors undulating rural landscape (soft and dark green). On the arms, there is also a church, three houses and a path. The soft green is for rural vocation and farming activities. The dark green is for the forest and linked activities. The valleys symbolize the geographical location of the municipality, on small valleys nearby Mount Orford. The church symbolize our heritage and the citizens desire of protecting heritage. The houses symbolize the evolution of population while respecting farming activities. The path is the unity symbol.
All together, it produces a marvellous countryside where living is pure pleasure !

Just to let you know :

The marble you find in Château Laurier in Ottawa (Ontario) comes from South-Stukely quarries.

The firm Agrégats Waterloo, which works on South-Stukely quarries, is an international leader in the field of dust stone production, which is used on tennis court.
